Pride AI was founded to solve a fundamental challenge in emerging markets: the "Institutional Data Vacuum." While developed economies capitalize on structured, real-time data to drive AI-led transformation, many institutions in our region remain hindered by informal practices and fragmented information. Data is often treated as a compliance burden rather than a strategic asset - a barrier that prevents the adoption of advanced automation & AI.

The Founder’s Mission

With over 23 years of experience in Banking, Private Equity, Financial Services, and Sovereign Wealth Funds, our founder, Tamiru Belayneh Hassen, identified a critical gap that traditional advisory cannot bridge. True transformation requires more than high-level strategy; it requires Intelligent Infrastructure.

Pride AI represents a deliberate transition from two decades of high-stakes financial advisory into a product-led venture. Our mission is to institutionalize AI across the financial landscape, turning fragmented operations into performance-driven ecosystems.

Our name is our North Star. It is a tribute to the legacy our founder late brother Dr. Solomon Belayneh and his Pride Clinic, where medical service was defined by compassion, trust, and dignity. At Pride AI, we carry that spirit into the digital frontier. We believe that technology is only as good as the ethics behind it. We are building "Institutional-Grade" technology that reflects the discipline of international finance and the heart of local service.

Global Ambition

While we are starting locally in Ethiopia to solve contextual challenges, our ambition is global. We are architecting systems that meet international standards (US/EMEA), allowing African institutions to bridge the digital divide and compete in the global financial and investment ecosystem.
